Welcome to Curtin Mechanical Society (CMS)
We are an engineering club with an academic focus. Our aim is to assist students in getting a head start towards their development of professional skills and to facilitate networking events that promote engagement with a wide range of industries.
Our Goal and Values
We want every member to have the ability to develop the skills desired by industry and build connections to mechanical focused companies whilst promoting an inclusive and sustainable environment. Our committee are always looking for new ways to improve our members' skills and connections so that they can become well rounded, developed engineers.
Unlock Mechanical Engineering PathwaysWe want to enlighten students on the various pathways mechanical engineering can take them beyond oil, gas and mining.
UpskillVarious software aren't taught at Curtin but are beneficial in industry. We teach students these software to give them a jump start on their units and careers.

NetworkingWe offer networking events and opportunities curated towards mechanical engineering students.
Inclusive SpaceBeing the only mechanical engineering club at Curtin, we want to create an inclusive space where students can socialise with peers and build friendships to maximise their university experience.
